Rain
Finally, after weeks of intense heat, there was a small break. For almost 2 hours it rained. The temperature went far below the 101degrees we had reached. And then it went back up.
No sooner had the rain appeared, then the sun came back out. It almost looked lie God was going to pop out and chide me from averting my eyes.
Oh well. More rain should come. In a day or two.
